Warranty Policies
CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTIES
THE BLUE HOUSE stands behind the products it sells and therefore guarantees quality in its materials and manufacturing processes. In the points listed, the company undertakes to repair or replace the furniture or parts thereof, at no cost to the buyer. Likewise, the exchange of any product with any type of damage caused by our transport vehicles when delivering the furniture.
QUALITY POLICY
- The customer must check the products at the time of delivery, by signing receipt of merchandise, the customer accepts that it was received in perfect condition.
- In the event of damage, dents or details, the customer must reject the product so that it is returned to TBH, then they can contact the sales representative within a maximum period of 48 hours after delivery to initiate their quality claim.
- Any quality claim that arises after the product has been used will be analyzed by our quality department; with a response period of 10 business days after the claim has been submitted.
LEATHER FURNITURE
- 2 year warranty on leather for factory defects.
- 2 years for wood failures or diseases.
- 1 year for furniture misalignments.
- 1 year on the metal pieces that accompany the sofa. FURNITURE
IN FABRIC
- 2-year warranty on furniture fabrics, as well as the padding of upholstered pieces, for manufacturing defects.
- 2 years for wood failures or diseases.
- 1 year for furniture misalignments.
- 1 year on metal parts that accompany the furniture.
WOOD AND METAL FURNITURE
- 2-year warranty against defects in material and/or workmanship of the furniture parts. The word "defects" is defined in this warranty specifically to mean imperfections that prevent the end user from using this product.
- 2 years of wood stability.
- 1 year on mobile hardware.
- 1 year on joining and assembly hardware.
LAMPS
- 1 year warranty on the electrical system.
- There is no guarantee on the materials that make up the lamps since their preservation depends on the space or environment in which they are installed.
CARPETS, DECORATIVES AND ACCESSORIES
- 1 year warranty.
CONCRETE AND METAL FURNITURE
- 1 year warranty for defects in concrete. "Defects" are defined in this warranty specifically as imperfections that impede the use of this product by the end user.
- 2 years in structural stability.
- 1 year on mobile hardware.
- 1 year on joining and assembly hardware.
FLOORS
- The plants have no changes in quality.
INVALIDITY OF WARRANTY
- When repairs have been carried out by persons not authorised by our company and due to lack of maintenance of the products.
- When the furniture was used in conditions other than normal or was used for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
- Present obvious bumps, mistreatment or any inappropriate use of the product.
- Due to natural disasters that cause damage to the product.
- Natural wear and tear of fabrics, vinyl, seams and coatings.
- By direct exposure to the environment or its elements such as rain, snow, humidity, dust, fire or direct sunlight.
- By exposure or treatment with chemicals.
- Moving or any transfer of furniture outside the original address to which it was sent.
- Due to their nature, certain materials such as marble, onyx, wood or fabrics may have variations in tones, color, veins and inlays, these are not considered manufacturing defects.
- Damage caused by burns, pets, scrapes, cuts, intentional abuse and misuse are not covered by this warranty.
- We are not responsible for variations in tones or colors of new products. If you have purchased a product before and want to repair or buy another one with the same characteristics, these may present variations in the tones.
- Due to short and poor installations, that is, due to technical malfunction.
- Any modification, change or alteration to the original characteristics of the furniture or any of its parts.
- Spilled liquids and food that cause stains on rugs, tables, chairs, armchairs, sofas, among other objects that may be affected by this.
- The decrease in volume of the cushions is a normal consequence of use and is not related to a loss of elasticity due to manufacturing defects.
- It is normal for fabric and leather furniture to have wrinkles as a result of daily use, this does not correspond to a manufacturing problem.
TRADE POLICIES
- No changes are made to custom-made furniture, nor to furniture made to order with modifications to the design proposed by TBH.
- Under warranty, we are not responsible for modifications to the original characteristics of the furniture requested by customers.
- The customer has (8) calendar days to make changes for products for immediate delivery to the store, except for plants. Products that are sent to be manufactured cannot be changed, except for quality issues.
- No refunds are made.
- Lamps and mirrors are not installed.
- Installations outside of Medellín have a charge depending on the installation location and the product to be installed.
- The transport service does not include: Raising and lowering the product by façade, empty spaces, terraces or other specialized maneuvers. TBH will not be responsible for such maneuvers, which must be contracted by the Buyer directly with a third party.
- For accessories, coffee tables and chairs, the customer can schedule in-store pickup at no shipping cost.
- If a product repair is requested outside of warranty, the buyer must assume the cost of transporting the product from their home to the place indicated by TBH to make the repair.
