At The Blue House we are aware that the increase in furniture waste has a growing environmental impact, so our challenge is to create functional and attractive pieces while innovating in the search for more sustainable alternatives.

With this objective, we began to develop an initiative where, in addition to transforming and using, we also RE-THINK and REUSE; finding a new way to be greener and extend the useful life of some of our products through REUPHOLSTERY and RESTORATION.

How does it work?

Consulting
We will ask you a series of questions to provide you with an initial quote.


 

Collection
You decide whether we pick up your furniture or you arrange to send it to us.



Assessment
We will evaluate all the requirements to give you an accurate quote.




Restoration
We will begin the restoration process as you have been informed.


Shipment
We can send the part to your home or you can pick it up at our facilities.


 

Shipping process

You can choose to:

  1. Request that we pick up the furniture from your home.
  2. Send the furniture to our workshop with your trusted carrier.
  3. Bring it to our facilities in person.
  • The shipping cost – both for transporting the furniture from home to the warehouse, and vice versa – is 100% borne by the customer, regardless of the means chosen.
  • Shipping costs are not included in the reupholstery price and may vary depending on location.
  • The price does not include logistics for lowering or raising the pieces.


Time and process


The restoration time ranges from 15 to 25 business days after we receive the fabric at our facilities. This timeframe does not include shipping time or the time required to obtain supplies if the material is not currently in stock.

Once the restoration and reupholstering process is complete, The Blue House will send the furniture back to the address given or the customer can pick it up.


Terms and conditions

  • The reupholstery service is only performed on furniture owned by The Blue House.
  • Applies to selected references.
  • Estimated values ​​for selected fabric and leather items; if you choose something outside this selection, it may not be within the price range shown on this page.
  • Values ​​may change depending on the wear and tear of the foam and other components of the furniture.
  • The legs are not included in the service price.
  • Transportation rates will depend on the customer's geographical location; these will be quoted by an advisor.
